About

Singer, performer, and composer Aadnan El Khaldi (Aadnan El Yanagui) is truly an artist of unmatched and incomparable stature. Born on May 25, 1983, in Morocco—specifically in Laâyoune—this young talent originates from the city of Chefchaouen, more precisely Bni Khaled (Ghmara), which is why he chose the nickname “Aadnan El Khaldi.”
From a young age, he was influenced by great singers such as Abdelkader Chekara, Laaroussi, Farid Al Atrash, as well as renowned Spanish artists like the Gipsy Kings, Nina Pastori, and Camarón de la Isla. It is clear that this young artist possesses a natural gift, having grown up in a purely artistic environment within a family passionate about art and music.
His first stage experience took place in Mohammedia at the age of 9 during the Throne Day celebration, where he performed in front of His Majesty King Hassan II. From that day on, his passion for music grew, as did his dream of becoming a famous star.
He later joined the Mohammedia scouts, where he began singing their songs while holding on to his dream of becoming a well-known and independent artist. In 2002, he started singing “tarab” songs by artists such as Abdelhalim Hafez, Farid Al Atrash, and Asmahan, performing them successfully.
In 2005, he formed a group called “Amar Band,” aiming to introduce a new personal style by singing in Arabic and Spanish, accompanied by two guitarists and a female vocalist performing Western songs. In 2007, the group won the “Casafleur” award for Best Musical Group in Ain Sebaa. Unfortunately, due to various reasons, the group later disbanded.
In 2008, he met his friend Saïd Talab, a music arranger and producer who supported him greatly. With his help, Aadnan began recording his songs. His first track, “Bem Bem Gitana,” became the reason for his popularity in the city of Mohammedia. He then went on to produce a full album with Saïd Talab. However, due to a lack of support from Moroccan artists and issues with piracy, the album was only released online. Nevertheless, the internet played a major role in its success, as it was appreciated by many listeners.
Gradually, people began to recognize him more. He later recorded a song titled “Habibe Lkalbe” with Adil Belhajjam, in which he sang in Spanish, achieving great success at the national level.
He then started working with the group “Cosa Nostra,” where he first performed the chorus of “Made in Morocco,” which was broadcast on all Moroccan radio stations and made him widely known among the Moroccan public.
Alongside singing, he also began working as an interpreter with Adil Belhajjam, collaborating on a song titled “Sodfa,” with lyrics by Nabil Harbaz. Currently, Aadnan El Khaldi is working in collaboration with lyricist Nabil Harbaz, who has also achieved notable success.
Audiences further discovered Aadnan El Khaldi during the live shows of “Comedia” on RTM, especially with his remarkable song “Wach Ngoulik.”
Let us continue to support this talented artist, Aadnan El Khaldi, so that he can raise the Moroccan flag high, move forward, and keep impressing and dazzling us.
At present, Aadnan El Khaldi is settled in Germany.
